Trap bar deadlift – Triple bodyweight
Just a whole lot of heavy squatting and Olympic lifting these past several months. Haven’t touched the trap bar in ages, but wanted to see if I could do this. I think of this as a warm-up to eventually doing this on the normal straight bar. 525 lbs at 175 lbs bodyweight. I am beginning to like heavy squats and fast lifting from the ground (ie, snatches and cleans) as the foundation of my lower body work. Strange audio selection for this video, but I think it oddly works. Also, the original gym sounds were distracting/detracting from the video.

I like how the camera shook a bit at the end when the trap bar was set down and the plate’s contacted the floor.
Holy crap that’s ridiculous! I weigh a tad bit more ~178lbs and I can deadlift about 400. This is just a total mindscrew. LOL at the way the camera shook when you put the bar down. Kinda rewrites whats possible in my head.
Good job man.. seriously. That’s freakishly strong.
