Two Finger Chin-up

Here’s a video of a two finger chin-up on rings with the index fingers, then the middle fingers. These weren’t perhaps the strongest ones of the night, but they’re a pretty average representation of my strength in the skills now. Notice how much faster (and stronger) the middle finger chin moves. The rings make this skill easier than a bar, as the apparatus rotates with the pull. I’ve been working this skill casually at the end of my upper body workouts. After my pull-ups or chin-ups are exhausted for the day, I’ll pull some low reps with various combinations of fingers. I would suggest starting easy with this type of skill. Injured fingers are a pain to heal. And finally, because I know people will ask, I’m currently tipping the scales around 180 lbs. Hope this gives you some ideas! Good luck with your training! -Jim www.BeastSkills.com
